Ariel is a 7 year old female, Cane Corso in Texas. She was pulled from a shelter in Austin, Texas

Ariel came to CCR in 2018, a few months before her 8th birthday. She lived with her family for 7.5 years and that summer, the resident dogs beat her up pretty badly. Poor Ariel was never the aggressor her family stated, but she lost her family after several fights aimed at being aggressive to Ariel.

The day her foster mom picked her up from animal control, Ariel had large gashes on her head and legs (being medically treated) and a ripped ear.  She happily greeted and took treats, and proceeded to jump in the car for a ride…off she went to foster care.

Almost 2 years later, we are really hoping Ariel can spend her final golden years with daily, short walks, lots of pets, baby talk, and a BIG, fluffy bed to take naps each day!  Silver Paws Ariel is just that easy and loving. Ariel would love a canine brother and human siblings as well!  Currently, her human siblings (3, 7 and 10 years old) give her pets, snuggles and ear rubs. Did I mention her ears feel like VELVET!!  Ariel is healthy with NO known medical issues, low energy, but full of love, with kisses that she generously shares!

She is crate, house & leash trained, but should not be around cats or small dogs. Ariel is Kids safe 6 years of age and older, and she also likes getting her butt scratched
