NOTICE: We are currently backed-up with applications. We are at about a 4 week response time. Please be aware we may not contact you for up to 4 weeks.

Adoption donations vary (depending upon the age of the dog) and they range from $200-$500. You can read more on our FAQ page. These donations assist in covering the cost to vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip and heartworm testing our dogs. In some instances, Cane Corso Rescue, Inc spends thousands of dollars on an individual dog.

Please fill out this application only if you are 100% SERIOUS about adopting a Cane Corso.  It will take you quite awhile to fill this form out. Please be aware, you will need your Veterinarian’s name & phone number as well as 3 references, their phone numbers and optionally their emails. At least 2 of these references must be non-relatives. If you decide to add email addresses to your personal references, please let them know ahead of time that they will be receive an email from

If you do not completely fill out this form, you WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED for adoption.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not adopt dogs outside of the continental United States. If you fill out an application for adoption, it will be ignored.

Our volunteers donate a lot of time for the screening (about 10-12 hours per application), so please do not fill out this application unless you are completely sure about being an adoption candidate. It is in everyone’s best interest to be completely honest when filling out this form, as we use the information you provide to best match our Cane Corso rescues with their new fur-ever homes.

Becoming a Foster Volunteer is quite exciting. You can care for these gentle giants until their fur-ever home is found. If you have large breed experience, we are looking for you and are always in need of foster care volunteers. Since Cane Corso Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your unreimbursed mileage (14 cents per mile for 2016), tolls, fuel and parking expenses while traveling for CCR are tax deductible. Please read the IRS’s Publication 526 for more details on Charitable deductions. Pre-approved supplies, dog food, dog-vetting & medications may be paid for by CCR.

As a Foster Volunteer, you could potentially:

  • Provide a temporary foster home to a Cane Corso rescue
  •  Assist the Cane Corso rescue in getting any necessary medical attention (spay/neuter, heartworm, etc.)
  • Interview and visit potential adopters and their homes.
  • Transport rescues to their new “forever” home.
