About CCR

Our mission is to place each dog or puppy into the best “forever home” possible, as well as help educate the community about the ownership of this fine breed.

The Cane Corso Rescue Committee pledges to always consider the well-being of the Cane Corso and people involved in transportation, adoption, fostering, re-homing and ownership of any Cane Corso dog or puppy.

In March 2005, Kathy, Liz and Tammy formed the Cane Corso Rescue Committee, which was a committee under the International Cane Corso Federation (ICCF) which later became the Cane Corso Association of America (CCAA). It was also in 2005 that Cane Corso Rescue became a member of Petfinder.com.

In January, 2009, Cane Corso Rescue became independent of the CCAA and formed Cane Corso Rescue, Inc.

In June 21st 2013, CCR received its IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status.

Since 2005, over 1,000 Cane Corso dogs have been rescued and adopted in their forever homes. As CCR continues to grow, so does the need for volunteers, adoptions & donations.

Unfortunately, we do not have an email address at this time since we get so many emails a day from adoptions, surrenders and other applications: our volunteers are tied up with getting those processed. However, if you have an urgent situation, please call us at the phone number above.
