Luna and her brother were pulled from a New York City shelter. It was obvious that at one time these dogs were someone’s beloved pets. We were able to trace the dogs back to the original owner, who still has 2 other Cane Corsos. Luna was an indoor/ outdoor dog and was loved and cared for. She (and her brother) just became too much for the owner when other family members and care givers to the Corsos, went back to their country of origin. Luna (and Blue) was placed with another family and contact was lost with the original owner.
For some reason, Luna (and her brother) ended up in the shelter and that’s when CCR stepped in. Luna is doing very well in her foster home and enjoys the days were she can chase toys in the yard or catch a snow ball or two! She can be active outside, but she is calm indoors. Luna enjoys going on daily walks with her foster Mom and Dad and especially treasures times she gets to spend with her foster grandmother.
Luna is a 3 year old female Cane Corso in PA, that has never lived with children so we are looking for a home with no children or children 10+yrs. She has no known history with cats or small dogs but she would do great as an only dog or in a home with a large breed male dog.
