Meet Luna! Miss Luna is an approximately 2 year old female Cane Corso who is currently living with a foster in Florida. Luna was found running stray with several other corsos last year and while the others were reclaimed, Luna was not. A CCR volunteer saw Luna in the shelter and scooped her up so she could be sure she would be safe! Sadly, this volunteer is having health issues and feels it is best to find Luna a forever family who can give her the time and exercise she needs. Luna is a high energy gal ( she’s only 2 after all!) with a high prey drive, so a family who has time to exercise her and continue training with her would be ideal. Luna currently lives as an only dog but has had some controlled interactions with other balanced, large breed males. Luna IS a dominant dog and will only be considered for placement with a submissive, large breed male dog. No small dogs, cats, etc as they do trigger her prey drive. Luna has been crated trained but also does well with free roam as an only dog. She is very people friendly and has a few friends as young as 10 years old.
