Meet Kila! This sweet girl is barely over a year old, and is in urgent need of a local foster. Kila was given up by her original owner at 6 months old. Sadly her second owner who loves her very much was deployed on a military commitment and is no longer able to care for her. Kila is understandably a little nervous around new people, especially men, so we are begging for a Florida foster family to step in and save her! Kila is currently living with her owners family temporarily while we find a safe place for her, but it is a large burden for them as they have 4 other dogs as well. Kila needs some one on one attention to work on her nervousness in public places and to learn the world isn’t such a scary place. Kila is great with other dogs and is a very sweet girl once she gets a chance to learn you’re a trustworthy person. Due to her nervousness we do not feel it is in Kila best interest to be moved on a transport and are hoping to find a loving foster family who are able to meet the family directly to transport Kila. Kila’s nervous behavior consists of backing away and trying to hide behind her person and she has never shown any aggression whatsoever.
