Brutus – Male in Texas
Cane Corso | Dog Safe
Brutus is a 3 year old (approx. DOB: Aug 2018), Male Cane Corso in Texas.
During the Texas Winter Storm of 2021, six dogs were left to fend for themselves at an auto repair shop in Houston, Texas. Unfortunately, one of the dogs was found deceased, frozen from from the winter storm. The other five dogs, were confiscated and released into Cane Corso Rescue, Inc’s care. Besides Brutus; Ellie, Mama Dog, Jimmy & Picante are the other 4 dogs available for adoption.
Brutus love attention, but he is in need of basic training – he is still learning how to be a companion dog.
Brutus is excellent with other dogs and would be best in a home with older kids (14+).
Cane Corso Rescue is in urgent need of foster homes to assess these dogs, ensuring they receive proper vetting and align with their current bios.
Cane Corso Rescue has a specific set of criteria they use when reviewing applications to ensure each dog is placed in the safest and most suitable home possible. Please note that we typically do not place dogs in homes with another dog of the same sex. This is due to a behavioral tendency known as same-sex aggression, which is common in the Cane Corso breed.
