Meet Aurora (aka Black Betty): The Shy Sweetheart with Zoomies to Spare!

Aurora is a beautiful black Cane Corso who may take a little time to warm up, but trust us—she’s worth the wait! When she first came to us, she was quite shy and needed a few days to come out of her shell. After a couple of weeks, she became much more comfortable and started showing off her true, loving personality.

Aurora might need slow introductions and some time to get to know new people. Given her previously unstable and stressful living conditions, this is a common and understandable response. But once she trusts you, she’s all about the zoomies! She loves to run around the yard, letting loose with all that pent-up energy.

Aurora is incredibly sweet, but she’ll need a patient family who understands that it’ll take time for her to trust new people. If you can give her that, she’ll reward you with endless love and joy. (Honestly, who couldn’t relate to that, right? Take your time, Aurora—we’re here for you!).
