Raja – Female in Michigan

Raja is a beautiful 5 year old female Cane Corso who is joining CCR and needs a foster family to help her get settled in. Raja was originally owned by someone who fell onto hard times and asked a friend to take care of Raja while he got back on his feet. Unfortunately 2 years later, he has come to terms with the fact that he will not be able to take Raja back, and the family friend who has been caring for her is no longer able to care for either. For the past 2 years Raja has been living with a 9 year old child as well as a small dog. Due to her caretaker not being really corso-savy and a little frightened by her size when on leash, she will need a little work on manners and not being reactive to things when out on walks. During her evaluation she settled very quickly with a confident person in control of her leash, but this will be something her foster family will need to continue to work with. Raja is VERY sweet and eager to please. We’re so excited to welcome her to the program!
