New name, New life! Elmo, now called Atlas, had been in foster care about a month and has really blossomed from the timid scared pup we took in. Elmo is completely smitten with his canine sister. He has put on weight and has shown no issue with being timid around men as had been reported. Elmo will need continued work with crating as he throws a bit of a puppy tantrum when he is left alone in his crate. This sweet boy will be so amazing in the right home, might it be yours?

CCR is thrilled to be welcome Elmo to the program. This young boy is just under a year old, and still very much a puppy. He was surrendered to a veterinary clinic when his owner could no longer provide care for him. Sadly, it appears he was unable to care for him for quite some time as he came in very skinny and the owner reported only feeding this growing boy only half the amount he should be eating. Elmo can be a little nervous around men, but is polite and simply keeps his distance but he will take treats if tempting enough! He absolutely loves woman and has been no problem to handle in the veterinary clinic. We will be moving Elmo into foster care and learning more about him but we do know he is playful and receptive to other large breed female dogs.
