UPDATE 11/15/15: Good news! Vixen can definitely be with other dogs. She would do best with a laid back male who would enjoy a little play time, but if she’s ignored, that’s fine too. She has even thus far ignored my female!! Cats she is “ok” with. She would definitely chase but at all tail wags and play bows. When slow nose to nose introductions are done there was a lot of sniffs and tail wags. It would take some work since she’s a spaz but probably would end up being ok with one if need be. She is a very goofy young lady who looooves to run and play and even loves water!
Cane Corso Rescue, Inc. is elated to be welcoming Vixen into the family. Vixen is a gorgeous 1yr old female Corso. She was surrendered to a shelter because her family didn’t have time for her. This poor baby was being crated 8-10 hours a day! Vixen has a lot of pent up energy as after living through that ordeal, she sat in a shelter for 6 months!!! Vixen needs a foster or forever home that is willing to provide her with proper exercise, nutrition, and guidance. Vixen is a typical puppy and needs some work on manners; she is incredibly social and friendly with all humans she meets! Her status with cats and dogs is unknown as the shelter staff was too nervous to test her due to her energy and strength. Vixen has lived with children 9 years and 11 years of age. Don’t you worry sweet gal the CCR village has their arms around you and you will NEVER be crated 8-10 hours a day again! Promise!!!
