Update 6.21.14: Although Sophie is still extremely frightened (we have to remember how she has lived for the last 8 years), she continues to make progress in the care of her foster family. Two of her most recent leaps were allowing a visitor to the home to pet her and she mustard up enough courage to follow foster mommy into the computer room! Once there, she felt comfortable enough to relax and take a siesta. WAY TO GO SOPHIE…WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU! Thank you foster family for giving allowing her the opportunity to learn in a safe, loving environment. Baby steps is exactly what she needs!
Update 6.19.14: Foster family has had this precious gal for a few days now and she continues to make progress in all areas. She has made friends with Moose and loves chicken (smart cookie). And today she received a name…she is Sophie! A sweet name for a sweet gal, thank you foster family for giving her the best life has to offer!
CCR family please welcome our senior gal who just came into rescue after 8 long, hard years. Liz states, “I can’t stop crying about this girl. Years of a cage and making puppies. She doesn’t even know what daylight is. Everything will be a first for her. Thank you Elisabeth for fostering this girl. Moose will teach her so much. Love, love, love this girl and the best days of her life are still ahead. CCR will update her information once she has settled in with her foster family. She is 8 years old, fully vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped.
