Update 12.27.15: Philli has been in foster care for a few weeks, the progress she has made is remarkable but she will need a breed experienced home. Philli is a dominate female who will take charge if given the opportunity so she needs a human who is comfortable with being the ‘leader of the pack’ and willing to continue reinforcing boundaries . Philli is available for adoption and CCR believes she would be most happiest in a home as an only dog or with a submissive male of similar size and children 12 year or older. Please enjoy the many photos of her and her transformation thus far.
Cane Corso Rescue, Inc. is elated to be welcoming Philli into the family. Philli is a sweet 2 year old female Corso. Poor Philli has been passed around as her original owners had her until she was about 6 months of age and rehomed her after falling on hard times requiring a move to an apartment that didn’t allow pets. Her second owner has had her for about 1.5 years; now that she is maturing, there have been issues with the female Neo also residing in the home. As a result, Philli has gotten the boot AGAIN! No worries sweetheart, the CCR village is here now and we will ensure you receive a family that is committed to YOU-FOREVER. A wonderful CCR volunteer evaluated Philli and describes her has an absolute sweetheart with a great personality. She is young and energetic but at the same time is an absolute love bug. Philli needs a foster or forever home that is willing to provide her with proper exercise, nutrition, and guidance. Philli will need some work on manners; she is social and friendly with humans and male dogs. Her status with cats, small dogs, and children is unknown at this time as CCR is still gathering additional information.
Philli has been completely vetted, spayed, micro-chipped, and is current on heartworm and flea/tic prevention. If you are interested in adopting Philli, please complete an application and we will process as quickly as possible.
