Meet Molly!! Miss Molly joins CCR from a family who rescued her off facebook to save her from a trip to the shelter. While Molly was a very good girl for them, they quickly realized that it was just too much to handle with 4 young kids. Molly has lived with small and large dogs and would prefer a male companion who has a little bit of energy to play! Her foster family is working with her on basic manners and perfecting potty training. Unfortunately her previous families had not invested much time into teaching her these things. This sweet girl is 2 years old and would love a family to call her own with a dog friend and older children. Molly has not been cat tested. As she has not had a lot of direction in her past, she will need a family willing to work on continuing her training and ensure she knows her place in the pack.

From Molly’s foster mom:

Molly is extremely sweet. Although she is a submissive female corso,
she’s still a corso. Her original owners left her in the backyard, so
she didn’t have a lot of structure in her life before and we’re
working on basic commands and house manners. She’s very high energy
and needs someone who is willing to continue working on her training.
She gets along well with other dogs, but that’s also largely in part because everyone knows
I’m the alpha. She would do better in a household with older kids. Not
sure about cats. She’s currently being crate trained and doing well at
it. She’s a blue with fawn marbling and a natural tail.

Hi Ashley. We are interested in Molly.
We have a male 4 1/2 month cane corso pup that came to us with issues. He recovered from Parvo first week of May and has really bounced back. What are your thoughts?

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi Peggy, please apply for adoption if
You are interested in Molly or any of our other females. Molly would do great with a male companion!

    Hi Ashley,
I have a 200lb brindle male Great Dane that would love a female companion. Is Molly intact?

Hi Lisa, All our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to being adopted. Molly is spayed.

Hi Ashley, I’m interested in Molly, We have a Cane Corso male, almost 2 years old, rescue too.! And we are looking for a female to play with and Molly seems to be the perfect and beautiful full ears and tail (which is awesome) Cane Corso new girlfriend.
I would like to know her weight if is not too much to ask, Thanks!! Att : Kaina

Hi Kaina, thats so great! I hope you have applied for adoption! We typically don’t list weights of our dogs becasue we want the personality and fit for the family to be the factors that determine placement and not physical features. However Molly is a typical size for a female Corso, and she hangs out right around 100 lbs!

  5. Kaina Reply

Thanks Ashley…. yes, I agree.. .was just curious about the weight to make sure she wasn’t too much larger than our Bear, exactly 100. So, sounds like they are bookends! She caught our eye because she looks identical to our Bear! Same age too!

Awwww thats great! Maybe they are meant to be :-). Ill keep an eye out for your application!

  11. Richard Boggs Reply

are these puppy good as service dogs. I would love to adopt one. I would like to train one to work with me. I’m a combat veteran and have PTSD. at times I need help. can they trained for that.

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi Richard, Corsos are very dedicated and loving with their owners. If you are looking for a dog to be by your side and for calming and reassurance, a corso is a great choice. However if you are looking for a dog to perform service dog training, we are unable to provide dogs for this purposes due to legal reasons. Thank you for your service to our country, and I hope you are able to find a suitable pup for what youre looking for

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi michelle, yes molly is still available

  13. Michelle LeVan Reply

Does she not do well with younger children? Or just a big dog thing and knocks them over ect??

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi michelle, due to size and roughness molly won’t be homed with children younger than listed. She’s still a pup and doesn’t quite know how to be gentle yet.

Hi, I love Molly. Is she in a shelter of some sort?

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

  19. Chelsi Reply

Hi! I put in an application about a week ago and I’m very interested in Molly and/or Minnie Bear!

  20. Saltyone Reply

I’ve been watching this site and Molly in particular since July. I’m wondering with all of these application is it they just don’t meet your criteria? Or does it take a considerable period of time to vet your applicants? 6 months is a long time in the life of a dog so I am curious.

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

      Hi Saltyone,
Please keep in mind that not everyone who comments applies, gets approved, has the correct living situation for molly, or chooses her once it comes to the actual adoption selection. Molly is also is currently fostered in Ca which makes it challenging to safely (and without great stress for molly) move her across the country as the majority of our adopters are in the eastern US.
