Molly

Meet Molly!! Miss Molly joins CCR from a family who rescued her off facebook to save her from a trip to the shelter. While Molly was a very good girl for them, they quickly realized that it was just too much to handle with 4 young kids. Molly has lived with small and large dogs and would prefer a male companion who has a little bit of energy to play! Her foster family is working with her on basic manners and perfecting potty training. Unfortunately her previous families had not invested much time into teaching her these things. This sweet girl is 2 years old and would love a family to call her own with a dog friend and older children. Molly has not been cat tested. As she has not had a lot of direction in her past, she will need a family willing to work on continuing her training and ensure she knows her place in the pack.

From Molly’s foster mom:

Molly is extremely sweet. Although she is a submissive female corso,
she’s still a corso. Her original owners left her in the backyard, so
she didn’t have a lot of structure in her life before and we’re
working on basic commands and house manners. She’s very high energy
and needs someone who is willing to continue working on her training.
She gets along well with other dogs, but that’s also largely in part because everyone knows
I’m the alpha. She would do better in a household with older kids. Not
sure about cats. She’s currently being crate trained and doing well at
it. She’s a blue with fawn marbling and a natural tail.

Hi Ashley. We are interested in Molly.
We have a male 4 1/2 month cane corso pup that came to us with issues. He recovered from Parvo first week of May and has really bounced back. What are your thoughts?

You are interested in Molly or any of our other females. Molly would do great with a male companion!

    Hi Ashley,
I have a 200lb brindle male Great Dane that would love a female companion. Is Molly intact?

Hi Kaina, thats so great! I hope you have applied for adoption! We typically don’t list weights of our dogs becasue we want the personality and fit for the family to be the factors that determine placement and not physical features. However Molly is a typical size for a female Corso, and she hangs out right around 100 lbs!

Thanks Ashley…. yes, I agree.. .was just curious about the weight to make sure she wasn’t too much larger than our Bear, exactly 100. So, sounds like they are bookends! She caught our eye because she looks identical to our Bear! Same age too!
