LINDY has been adopted!

AMAZING TRANSFORMATION! Look at sweet Lindy’s transformation in just 1 short month! This poor girl was pulled out of a shelter in deplorable conditions. Lindy has such a sweet amazing nature, we couldn’t let her down. With GREAT dedication from a FABULOUS foster Lindy is now looking like a brand new dog! She is now in search of a foster home who will help her through her cherry eye repair and get her the rest of the way ready for adoption. Lindy is only about 1 year old and loves kids, all dogs, even cats! Can you be Lindy’s next miracle?

      Hi Tony,

All dogs have what state they are listed in on their page. Lindy is current in Texas. If you are interested, please apply!

Liz, firstly thank you for the job you do along with all the volunteers. Very interested in Lindy to join our family.

QUESTION is we live on the super dog friendly island of St John USVI
If accepted willing to fly out and get Lindy and pay for all transport
Vet and director of Animal Rescue of St John available
*** seen the disclaimer only continental US but we are short 2 hr flight from Miami but i ask you reconsider as we’re confident we can provide Lindy the love and family’ it deserves
*** Were strong believers in adoption over breeders to join our family

I would have thought there were enough donations to fix the poor girls cherry eye???

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi Lynn, thanks for you concern about Lindy. She has her cherry eye surgery scheduled. Lindy was very very sick when she came to us and it would have been incredibly dangerous to do any surgery on her in that state. Per the vet’s recommendations, we waited until she was well enough to undergo surgery, as to not endanger her life. Please also keep in mind profiles are not updated daily or even weekly with ongoing cases, so even after her surgery is complete it will be a while before new pictures are posted.

When is Lindy’s surgery and when is it expected that Lindy will be available for adoption after her surgery? I have done rescue and fostering for many years until recently and we are looking to adopt an older pup, who may otherwise not find a home, into our lives. Thank you.

Hi Jennifer, we except lindy to be available in about a months time between surgery and healing time. Lindy is a very very young dog tho, if you are looking for an older gal we have plenty who could use your help, such as diamond, nova, and peneople. Please apply!!

Is she available and if so does she get along to male, cane corsos

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi George, All dogs who are on the adoptable dogs page are still available for adoption. Lindy is looking for a foster, or foster-to-adopt home, and yes, she gets along great with other dogs!

  12. Kevin Glick Reply

Is she still available? What part of Texas is she in?

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Thank you for the info….is there a way we could see her?
    We’re in Dripping Springs.

    • CCR - Ashley Reply

Hi Kevin, have you applied for adoption? We usually don’t do meet and greet since all our dogs are in private foster homes.

  14. Lynn Reply

I hope Lindy is well. She touched my heart.

    • CCR - Marianna Reply

Lynn – she is doing well and looks so much different than what she did at intake. She is sweet as pie too. She touched a lot of peoples hearts and hopefully will find a loving forever home soon. Marianna@CCR
