Update 1.5.2014: Fabulous Kara is anxiously awaiting her forever home. She really, really is an awesome girl that wants nothing more than to be with her people. She is low maintenance Corso as all she requires in addition to basic necessities is love, being with her people, and daily eye drops. In addition, a wonderful CCR volunteer has offered to sponsor her adoption event as all any of us want is for Karma to finally be in a stable, loving home. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL who has a soul 10 times as beautiful as her outward appearance!
Update 11.23.13: This poor gal just can’t get a break. Her potential adopter had a huge heartbreak as the landlord said ‘no’ so now Karma is without a forever home. Please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful girl who deserves to be eating turkey with her family. Our hearts are heavy with sadness.
Awe there is our beautiful girl Karma from Karma’s Journey after her operation. Karma is ready for her forever home. She is an awesome girl with a few special needs. Karma would prefer to be the only dog, if at possible. She will consider your home if you have another dog but you must recognize she does not have a full range of sight with the absence of her left eye and other critters make her nervous because she can’t really track their presence and movements. Because of this, CCR also recommends no children under 10 years of age. Karma deserves to be the center of YOUR universe. After all she has lived for more than 2 years in constant pain and pressure because her former owners neglected to get her the medical care she needed. For those of you who may not be familiar with Karma’s story, not only did they deny her medical attention they refused to claim her when found wandering the streets of NYC…alone, hungry, scared, and blind in one eye. Princess Karma deserves the royal treatment, if you think you can provide her with the love and companionship she deserves please complete an application for adoption through
