Update 5.11.16: Our precious boy Dillon is still looking for his forever family to find him. He is the most patient boy as he has been waiting for well over two years in foster care. Come on village let’s get this boy home FURever! I know we can do it. Dillon’s foster family report, “He’s in perfect health. Dillon is a very loving and attentive Corso, true to the breed he always wants to be near his humans. Dillon is very smart and only needs verbal commands for correction. He is a typical Corso in that he needs a strong leader and family. Dillon has been evaluated with cats, but he is indifferent to other dogs.
Update 3.17.14: Poor Dillon all the emergency situations has gotten his publication for an adopter neglected. Dillon is doing very well in foster care but he is a typical Cane Corso who needs a confident pack-leader. Dillon gets along very well with a female Corso who resides with in his foster home. They play for hours so he certainly would benefit from a forever home that has a female dog of similar size. Dillon is NOT eight years old. His foster family assessment of age is more like 5 years. Dillion is house trained, crate trained, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, tested negative for heartworm, and is current on preventions. He is a blue brindle neutered male.
Dillon is another beautiful blue brindle Cane Corso that will be ready for adoption in the near future. He will be residing in a foster home in MO. Dillon had an excellent evaluation while at the shelter earning a high rating of green status. He weighs approximately 100 lbs. CCR will update information regarding Dillon once he gets settled in his foster home. We are certain he is not 8 years old as reported but will not know until he’s seen our vet.
