It just doesn’t get better than this. Today CCR welcomes Denver into the family and on this same day Denver is welcomed home FURever by an approved adopter who has been waiting for a young male. Just love when this happens as you just never know when a young Corso is going to come into the program and to be able to send him/her directly home is GOLDEN! So the moral of the story that Denver teaches is…please apply to adopt through CCR even if you don’t see a puppy available because you just never know when one will be in need! Thank you Denver!
Denver came into rescue as owner surrender; he is a 7 month old fawn Cane Corso. Denver is a typical energetic puppy who loves human attention and companionship. Unfortunately, his previous owner realized she did not have adequate time to devote to the rearing of a large breed dog that requires training, socialization, and lots of exercise. Although a difficult decision, she thought it was in the best interest to Denver to surrender him to a reputable rescue that could find him a more suitable home environment so he can grow into the confident, well-mannered Corso he was meant to be. After a Cane Corso Rescue, Inc. volunteer evaluated him, we were elated to welcome into the family and already knew of an approved family that had been patiently waiting for a young male. So Denver is one of the lucky as he will transition from one home to another at a very young age. And what a home he will have with the 7 foot privacy fence, a large yard, and a fur-sister to frolic with!
Denver has been completely vetted, neutered, micro-chipped, and is current on heartworm and flea/tic prevention.
